Art & Design

Children are given the opportunity to develop their skills of the different areas of Art, including drawing, painting, printing, collage, textiles, 3D work and digital art. 

Computing

Each year group investigates the core four concepts of: computing systems and networks, media creation, programming and handling data and information. 

Design Technology (DT)

To develop the creative, technical and practical expertise needed to perform everyday tasks confidently and to participate successfully in an increasingly technological world

English

We believe that a quality literacy curriculum should develop children’s love of reading, writing and communication.

Geography

We have designed our geography curriculum to develop a sense of curiosity and fascination about the world.

History

We believe that a high-quality history education will help our pupils gain a coherent knowledge and understanding about Britain’s past and that of the wider world

Maths

From Early Years right through to Year 6, the children are taught to be fluent mathematicians who show great reasoning and problem solving skills.

Modern Foreign Languages (MFL)

We want to prepare our children for life as citizens of a global community.

Music

We want to engage and inspire the children by immersing them in a wide range of quality musical pieces.

Physical Eduction (PE)

Physical Education is an integral part of our curriculum and we intend to teach our children to understand the importance of physical activity, health and well-being.

PSHE

We believe that good quality PSHE education prepares children for opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.

Religious Education (RE)

All children, from any faith or culture, should feel welcomed into the school community and this is fostered through the learning and exposure to a variety of religions and worldviews.

Science

We want to prepare our children for life in an increasingly scientific world.
